Shelby had one of her best tournaments at the Flying Horse Satellite this weekend, She won the 14's and got to the Semi finals of the Girls 16's division. In the 16's, Shelby lost a great match to Heather Vols 6-2 6-2, but played a great match against a great player. In the 14's final, Shelby beat Isabel Pan 6-0 6-1 to clinch the finals of the Girls 14's and bring home some hardware from the event. next up will be the Pinery tournament, which will be here last tournament in Colorado before we leave for Vegas at the end of the month. She will miss Colorado and all of her tennis friends, but on to Vegas for the next chapter of her tennis career.

Great Pumpkin 2013
Shelby had a good Pumpkin Tournament in Las Vegas. he got to play her first Doubles event with her new partner Amanda Schlatter, they got the great draw of taking on the #1 seeds for the tournament in the first round, and lost 8-1, but did play well, in singles, Shelby won her first round, but lost her next two rounds in the tournament. Shelby got to meet with the director of the academy she will attend in Vegas, when we move there at the end of December. All in all a good time.
