Parker Challenger Finals

Shelby won her first tournament today in the Girls 14's at the Parker Challenger. After two years of being a bridesmaid several times, Shelby finally walked away with the 1st place trophy. Shelby beat Darby Warburton 6-1 6-1 to capture her first title of her tennis career. Along with her win today, Shelby won her first 16's match yesterday beating her opponent 6-2 6-4 in the consolation round of the Parker Tournament. Due to rain, Shelby won't play the finals of the 16's consolation round, but all in all a great event for Shelby, coming into a tough week of the Colorado open and the Summer Sizzler sectional 14's in Park City, Utah next weekend.

Parker Challenger 2013

Shelby Is playing the Parker Challenger this weekend, and it sure is nice to be on her home courts and not have to drive too far to get to a match, after traveling all over Colorado this summer. Shelby lost her first round in the girl's 16's 4-6 6-1 (10-8 in tiebreaker), but played well. In the Girls 14's, Shelby won her first round 6-2 6-2 and won her semi final match today 6-2 6-0 to reach the finals tomorrow. She will play her consolation match this afternoon in the 16's at 2:00. Lets hope for the best today and for the finals tomorrow

Morgan Buchli day 3

Shelby had a tough semi-final today at the Morgan Buchli tournament, she lost 6-1 6-1, on a tough day on the courts. she will play tomorrow for the 3-4th place trophy at 9:30 am. hopefully it will be a better day than today. a little sluggish in her match today.

Morgan Buchli Memorial Tournament

Shelby had a good few days at the first weekend of the Morgan Buchli tournament. she won her first round 6-1 7-6 and the won her second round 6-4 6-3 against a very good player. she will play in the semi finals tomorrow at 9:30AM. after a few tough losses in the last tournament, Shelby looks to have found her form again and hopes for a good result tomorrow morning.
