Shelby and Ellie played the finals of the girls 12's doubles at the Jon Cox tournament, but lost 6-2 6-2 to Josie and Sophie. Great job by all the girls in the match and the tournament. Time to start getting ready for the summer sectionals this weekend. Shelby and Ellie brought home some nice hardware from the event for their trophy cases!!!
Shelby had a rough day 2 at the Jon Cox tournament today. she lost 6-1 6-0 and played a little flat during the day. Shelby and her patner Ellie Strande won their semi final dubles match to make the final on Tuesday against Sohpie and Josie. Off to the courts to get ready for the Summer Sectionals this weekend
Shelby had a good first day at the Jon Cox Memorial Tournament. After getting a bye in the first round, Shelby cruised to a comfortable 6-0 6-1 victory in the second round of the tournament today. She will play her quarter final match tomorrow afternoon, followed by her first round of doubles after her singles match. It was a good day for her Team Colorado members also with Samantha, Amanda and Sophie all notching wins today.
