April Rankings

With the April rankings out, Shelby has finally broken into the top 10 in girls 12's rankings in Colorado. Shelby is ranked #9 currently in the state and it looks like her hard work has paid off during the winter months, and she can cross another goal off of her list for 2013 goals. She will continue to play 12's and 14's for the remainder of the year, in search of her goal to be in the top 20 in 14's by the end of the year.

Steamboat 2013

Yesterday was the start of training for the 2013 ITA Memorail day Circuit in Steamboat Springs in late May. One of Shelby's favorite tournaments every year. Working on our serve, fitness and more aggressive approach to her game for the rest of 2013. Shelby will be playing a few tournaments before Steamboat along with several practice matches to get her match tough for steamboat and the rest of the year.

Easter circuit....(cont)

Shelby lost her first round match at the Easter circuit to a tough opponent, 7-6 6-4, but won her first round consolation match 6-4 6-2. Her second round consolation match was against a tough opponent on a windy day 6-0 6-2. So it's on to her next tournament at rolling hills back in Colorado and then to Steamboat for the Memorial Day circuit in May
