Snowball Sectional 2013

Shelby had a good sectional tournament in Utah, going 2-2 on the trip. She started out with a first round win 6-2 6-2, but lost to the 2nd seed in the tournament 6-1 6-4 in the best match she has ever played. In the consolation draw, she won her first match 6-4 0-6 (10-8 in the tiebreaker) but lost her second match 6-4 6-1. All in all a good trip for her, now its time to get ready for her first 14's tournament of the year in a few weeks.

Born For This

Shelby got her stater pack from Athletic DNA today. She is excited to represent Athletic DNA this year and loves the look and feel of their clothes. Hopefully she will be with the Athletic DNA family for many years to come. As their slogan says Shelby was "Born for This". Some pictures below:

Colorado Tennis

Gotta love Colorado Tennis in January. We spent New Years Day shoveling our courts so that we can hit later in the week, to get ready for the Snowball tournament in a couple of weeks. We are hoping that the courts will fully melt by the end of the week, so that we can start preperations for the Snowball and kick off the year right!!!
