#4 Ranked

With the July rankings coming out today, Shelby is ranked 4th in the state for Satellite rankings out of 30 girls. with her recent wins at her tournaments, Shelby is in great position for some good draws with her high ranking position in the state. This is good with 2 tournaments in the next week and a half for her.

Redstone Rally

Shelby had a good tournament at the Redstone Rally this week. In the first round, Shelby played the #1 seed and beat her in the third set tiebreaker 2-6 6-4 10-6 to earn some ranking points. In the second round, Shelby lost to Isabel Pan on a hot tough day for her, still tired from the night before, Shelby Lost 4-6 3-6 in a good tough match. She will get back to practice and get ready for her home town tournament in Parker this week and try to capture her first title of her career.

Her First Tournament Final

Miss Shelby played in her first tournament final today and had a tough match, loosing 6-0 6-2 today. She was not on her game today, but finished as the runner up for the tournament. Another trophy for her now growing collection and her 2nd runner up in a row!!! On to the next tournament on Friday.

Morgan Bushi tournament

A few pictures of Shelby from her latest tournament. she won her first round match after a tough first set. Shelby struggled to find her form with the tournament using low compression balls and Shelby not used to the bounce on the balls. She found her form in the second set and won 1-6 6-2 10-3(tiebreaker) to advance to the finals on Wednesday night. A great comeback ad win for her

Runner Up

A few pictures from Shelby's last match of her tournament this week. she went 3-1 for the round robin tournament and beat a girl ranked in the state. With her win today, she was the runner up in the tournament and earned her first trophy and some much deserved ranking points for her performance in the tournament. She now will get ready for her next tournament this coming week.

South Suburban Satellite #2

A couple of pictures from Shelby's latest tournament at the Holly Tennis Center. She won 2 out of 3 matches so far for the tournament and has a chance to get second place with a win on Saturday.
